Biscuits ( Cheeseburger ) Recipe

3/4 lb Ground beef
1/2 c Onion; finely chopped
1/4 c Celery; finely chopped
2 tb Vegetable oil
1/4 c Tomato poste
1/2 c Water
1/2 ts Salt
1/4 ts Chili powder
1/2 ts Worcestershire sauce
1/4 c Ripe olive; pitted; chopped
3 c Biscuit mix
1 c Milk
2 sl Cheese; halved(process Amer)

Saute beef, onion, and celery in oil until vegetables are tender. Add
tomato paste, water, salt, chili powder, Worcestershire suace, and
olives, mixing well; simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Set
aside.

Combine biscuit mix and milk, stirring until a soft dough is formed.
(More biscuit mix may be added, if it is needed.)

Beat vigorously 30 seconds, and turn out on a lightly floured surface;
knead about 10 times. Roll the dough to 1/2 inch thickness.

Cut into eight 4-inch circles; place 4 dough circles on a greased
baking sheet. Spoon 1/4 of the meat mixture onto each, leaving a 1/4
inch border; top each with a cheese slice.

Place remaining dough circles on top, pressing the edges to seal.
Bake at 375 for 25 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown.
